Why have I just received Supernatural and the study guide for free...? Not that I'm complaining, I just can't recall ordering those two resources.
Both of them are permanent licenses, and don't show up in my order history.
It is the free offering from the Faithlife group "Faithlife Free Book". You have probably subscribed to the Faithlife group and forgotten about it.
Of course.
And they are indeed temporary. There's just a bug in the UI...
The license will turn permanent at the end of the month. Sometime around May 1st you will get an email from Logos thanking you for your purchase. The purchase price will, of course, be $0.
Thanks Faithlife!!

Thank you Fathlife. Really appreciate this resource.
Thanks for the explanation about this. I wondered why it was in my library as well.
Thank you very much, FaithLife!
For me, they came with 6 other resources all with temporary license.
So I thought they are Logos Now books for LN subscribers to review.
It nice to know that they are not part of LN but will be permanent in a month.
Thanks FaithLife.
Thanks FL. Nice!
Much appreciated. Thank you FL
Thanks FL!
They changed it up this month. It won't be free at end

I guess we shouldn't be surprised after the events of the last couple of months that they should pull a stroke like this
I do not see how the program has changed. tell me more.
Don't know if "the program changed," but the book is free to use for the month. You will lose access afterwards. That is a change from before when the licenses were made permanent at the end of the month.

That's how I understand it. I'm disappointed, because it was really nice when they made the licenses permanent at the end of the month. On the other hand, I'm still getting more than I paid for, so I really can't complain.
I posted the question on the Faithlife site and this is the official answer I received about the Free Book program:
I also posted on the forums when this first came out asking if there might be a discount to purchase the book at the end of the month and they told me "you may just be in luck! Keep your eyes open at the end of the month..." so there is that
They should rename the group if this is the new policy. Indian Giver would seem appropriate
Be careful. I grew up next to a Reservation, live near a Reservation and studied South Asian languages. Your use of the term implies you're older than I which must be getting ancient[;)] I would think "Free book for a month" would do it. [8-|]

I probably am older - in dog years [:D][:D]

That would work [Y]
