Proclaim is not filling up my screen...

Hello,
I'm currently testing Proclaim. I currently use Harmony. For some reason, Harmony fills my projector screen while Proclaim leaves empty space on the top and bottom.
Is there a setting in Proclaim for it to detect the screen size or will I have to adjust the projector?
I have the newest Mac OSx El Capitan and the newest version of Proclaim and Proclaim is set to 16:9.
Thanks ahead of time for the help.

The projector is set to "auto" on aspect ratio. So, it seems that when it receives a 16:9 signal from Proclaim the projector adjusts. Harmony sent a signal to match the projector.
So, I guess, whichever software I run with I just need to tweak the screen to that particular size.
The problem is that I want the projector to be the same size no matter that the source of media.

Proclaim will always output a 16:9 or 4:3 aspect ratio, depending on the setting. It does not adjust to the background in use, rather it will letterbox or pillarbox it.

Okay, I will have to tweak the projector.
Thanks for your help.

We too are testing Proclaim and have the same problem in that our Projector is 16:10 format, yet Proclaim only has two format settings 4:3 and 16:9, which means we have a visible shadow around the outside of the projected image.
We have been pleased with a great many aspects of Proclaim whilst testing, however, if no adjustment is possible I don't see how we can proceed with purchasing a licence, proclaims competitors don't appear to suffer with this problem.
A solution please which doesn't involve change the projector!

This is, unfortunately, not a trivial fix for us to make. Every media file in Proclaim has two versions, 4:3 and 16:9, which will be used according to the current aspect ratio you have set. In order for us to support a 16:10 format we would have to increase the volume of media files by 33%, which we currently are unable to do.

Check your projector's aspect ratio setting. See if it allows you're projector to be on auto. Our projector actually does 16:9 and 16:10, but if I put it on auto it seems to adjust to the source's setting.
If not, you could use Proclaim and see if you can shrink/stretch the picture by using "Corner Match" on the projector's settings.
Hope this helps/

It is a big deal though. We have this issue. It can be resolved by setting the computer to 16:9 and then add a scaler to output to the correct 16:10 format that several if not most churches would use. To simply switch to 16:9 or try to stretch it would defeat the purpose of having a 16:10 screen. I think Proclaim is the only software that doesn't have a 16:10 resolution option.

So what do I do when we are using 50 in TVs and Proclaim doesn't fill up the screen. It leaves black area along the sides. When I go to stretch or wide on my TV it cuts off some of the slides.
