Back and Forth Between Books

I have an iPad 2 

I have the ESV Bible on half the screen, the other half are  Notes from ESV Study Bible.  I want to navigate between ESV Study Bible Notes and NIV Study Bible and the Ryrie Study Bible notes. 

I have them linked so that as I move through the Bible, the notes follow. I want to be able to check out what the three study bibles comment on a verse.  There is the < to the left of the reference field.  Touching it takes me to a previous study bible but I can't go back to the prior study bible.  Is there a way to move back and forth with the study bibles.
