Android Tablet Processor: ARM vs. Intel Atom

I am am curious to know if the Logos Android apps will run faster on an ARM processor, or the Intel Atom processor. I will reference http://www.alphr.com/features/390064/arm-vs-intel-processors-what-s-the-difference which gives a baseline definition or each.

I am looking at the ASUS ZenPad Z580-CA with an Intel Atom processor with 4 cores with a clock speed of 2.33 GHz, has 4GB RAM, and 64GB of storage. It can be purchased for $249 from various internet sites.

Competing brands such as the Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 8 use the ARM processor. This particular one lists an OctaCore (8) processor running 4 at 1.9 GHz and 4 at 1.2 GHz. RAM is 3GB and 32GB storage selling for $399.

According to the referenced article, some android apps/programs are designed for ARM processors, and take longer to process on an Atom processor. Will Logos android apps work better on an ARM processor, or does it matter?

By the way, this is the first webpage I could find that explained / compared the ARM to the Intel Atom processors.

    The Faithlife Reader apps are compiled for both armv7 and x86 architectures, so whichever device you choose will download and run the appropriate app without requiring an additional translation layer that might otherwise slow things down.
