Camp Logos - Help

I am new to Logos and have worked my way around some basics. I'm wanting to focus on doing word studies and general Bible studies. I have Logos 5 at the moment (can't afford the upgrade) and wondered if Camp Logos was worth the cost? If so, which one do I get? Camp 1 or Camp 2?

The core Logos 6 engine is free and worth upgrading to - some additional functionality and it is the supported product. It is available from https://www.logos.com/install

and wondered if Camp Logos was worth the cost? If so, which one do I get? Camp 1 or Camp 2?

I haven't attended either but would recommend you start by working through freely available material such as the 30-day challenge

I highly recommend Morris Proctor and Camp Logos.

He is the best I have ever experienced in a seminar presentation. He helps you tap into the full potential of Logos. It helps if you already have a basic working knowledge of Logos (though not required), so you can keep up with the more advanced features.

Also worth having a look at the 30 day course that is free (perhaps until you see MP). Its great and explains how to use the software quite well.

If you have the opportunity to do Camp Logos, I would do Camp 1 & Camp 2. I did both last year and for me, it was well worth it. Not because they are informative, but because they are interactive and just plain fun. I also agree with Graham that you need to get the free upgrade to Logos 6. And if you run into problems, there are plenty of Logos users around here who will help with your questions

Mark, I agree with the advice to take the free engine upgrade. As for Camp Logos, I have been to them and they are excellent. However, I agree with the advice to buy the Morris Proctor manuals and work through them first. They are well worth the money, available in Logos format and walk you steep by step through the software. Camp Logos is fun and interactive. In my opinion, you will get the most out of it after using the software for a few months.
