Is L4 Win more responsive in Coherence than Window mode in Parallels 5?

Up till now I have run L4 in Window mode in Parallels 5 (on a second monitor most of the time).

Because I am away from the second monitor, I have tried running it in Coherence mode for the first time.

It seems like it is much, much more responsive in just about every way.

Anybody else noticed this?

    Hi Russ,

Recommend you post in the Mac forum to widen the pool of expertise that's been where you're thinking about going...

    Bill,

I struggled with where to post it.

I ended up posting it here because it is the performance of the Windows version of L4 to which I am referring.

This isn't that big of a deal to me. Just interesting.

I am beginning to think, though, that the performance boost probably has more to do with the fact that I am using it on a primary monitor instead of a secondary monitor than the mode of parallels.

    Hi Russ,

It's all good... just wanted to see you get the help you needed. However, the few times I've strayed over into Mac forums, I've usually found our most techie posters over there, too, anyway.

    Blessings!

    Grace & Peace,
