How does one automatically download all books to IPAD
Thought there might be option to automatically download all books as on PC ? Is that available?

If you have installed the app on the Ipad and signed in, it should become visible in the devices on the info panel of your desktop application. So you would need:
1) To select all from your library (CTL-A in Windows).
2) Go to the info panel (the circled i icon).
3) Look for your ipad under your download to device section (you would have to scroll down in the info panel to see it) and select your ipad.
4) Sync (perhaps exiting the application would be best to make sure it syncs with the Logos servers). Then it should download to your ipad (with or without delay).

Hi Denny, it generally is not advised to download one's whole library to ones iPad or phone... That said I have about 15% of my books on my iPad (1200 resources). I keep my resources on it that I want to have available no matter if i have a connection or not. I have had my mobile app become corrupted and needed to redownload it and redownload all 1200 resources again.

Dan's warning is well-advised. However, if you still want to download all your resources onto your iPad, there's an easier way. Go to the Library section of your Logos/Verbum iPad app. Look for "Download all". Click. Wait....

It is the design of the program... it is made to work off the servers... Some of us do not like this but it is the design of it. As I mentioned I and others have had the program become corrupt and need to reinstall it which means needing to download everything again. You can go right ahead and download everything you tug down on the list on your iPad and will see download all.... I hope you never have any issues.

It is generally advised not to download many hundreds or thousands of resources locally on iOS/Android devices because in the rare case that something goes wrong and the app get corrupt, a fresh install is sometimes the only solution and then it will take a long time to download those resources again. If you have a really fast network connection and not many resources in your library it's probably not an issue.
If an install gets corrupt we always ask for device logs (*before* the app is removed/installed again) to help solve the issue. To correct what Dan said, the app is designed to work both online and offline, but there are a some features that require online access to work; the Guides, Text Comparison, the Atlas and Visual Copy. All other features work when offline - Search, Highlights, Notes, Prayers, Clippings, etc.

Thank you Stephen for the correction. I should have made it more clear that the programs are designed to function fully even if you do not download any files, the main reason to have files downloaded is to have the key ones you want to always have available to you. That said I know a few people who have said I want all my books always available to me... So ideally downloaded are your favourite Bible, devotional, and book you are currently reading.

Another common reason is that, for many people, even while connected to the Internet it is faster to flip virtual pages in a downloaded book than in one that has not been downloaded.

I download to several Faithlike apps to group my reading library. Noet gets OT volumes, Biblia gets NT volumes, and so on. Since each app opens to where I left them, it's like having multiple mini-layouts.

I tried every possible fix out there untill i fixed it by checking the automatic app downloads.
