[QUESTION] - Is it possible to link notes together?

I have my own cross-reference highlight marker where I attach/edit reference points. There have been some instances where I have wanted to cross-reference another note that has additional references that I think may be good to see/look at. Is there any way to link these notes?

That's what I thought would work, but the URL is non-note specific (it's notebook specific, but that's it), if that makes sense.

So since I have a highlight that is used to show there are cross-references I've found, etc. using the URL copy/paste method will not bring me to the specific note I was wishing to link the other note to. Do you know of a way to make it so that the specific note within a note document can be associated/linked?

OR, you could look into the multiple attachment points for notes. Many times I use this feature for notes such as what you're describing. It's very easy for scripture notes, say I want John 3:16 and Matthew 28:19ff linked... I create a note at one point and add the other attachment point: now the note is "in two places."

Thank you both, but I have done that, too. But if I have two such notes and want to connect them w/o having to manually "add attachment points" for one or the other list -- this is what I'm looking for. It seems like attaching specific notes to other specific notes is not possible (unless someone has another option to suggest).

Faithlife tends to step in only when we as users are unable to provide the answer i.e. the forums are users helping users. You are correct that precise locations within a Notes Document is not possible - as one sees in a number of Note related features. Multiple attachment points is the Logos solution for the function you wish. Note that when the note is opened to edit attachment points, you can add by selection. So some automation is implemented.

Not sure if this is answered somewhere else now but for people like me looking for answer in 2021, its seems simply using the "Copy location as" option on top right (3 vertical dots) and selecting "L4" option will create a link to the specific note in question. Go to the note where you want the link and create hyperlink (ctrl+k) and then copy link (ctrl+v). I normally first create some text like "Link here" and then select that and create the hyperlink which looks better.
