Giovanni Diodati Bibbia in Top Bibles
How do I get rid of the Giovanni Diodati Bibbia in my Top Bibles list in the iPad app? I do not speak old Italian (or whatever it is) and I do not own this Bible. It is not in my Top Bibles. Yet it persists in insinuating itself into my Top Bibles when I do a passage comparison in the iPad app. Is there anything I can do to make it go away foreve? Thanks!

My prioritised Bibles in L6 (Mac) are: ESV, UBS4, NET, NIV84, REB
The GDB appears on iPad list after USB4, and bumps off REB.
I just noticed that when I click on "MY top Bibles" on the iPad (rather than "top Bibles") I get this list: AMP, CJB, CEV, ESV, GNB. Confusing much?

I thought of a work around... buy the book, then hide it. But it costs 13 bucks - so I ain't trying that!
Seriously, am I the only one who has this problem? It's really annoying...

Hi Michael
I can only confirm that this is not a problem that I have and suggest that you contact customer support.
If you are not in the US you might like to use Skype as this can be cheaper than fixed lines.

I seem to remember having a problem similar to this some years ago.
You could try setting your Preferred Bible in the iPad app to each of those in this list in reverse order - so REB first, then NIV84 and so on.
This might work - but I might have forgotten some detail!

Hi Michael.
i can confirm that i've had the same problem for quite some time and its quite annoying!
i'm following this thread to see if anyone comes up with a REAL solution rather than just some hack.
though i must admit, if nothing else,... even a hack (without spending $13) would be great.

Graham Criddle, you sir, are a genius! Your suggestion worked just fine.
I actually followed your procedure on my iPhone app, and found to my delight, it had automatically sorted itself out on my iPad. No more struggling with 17th Century Italian!
