I would like to read through the narrative of Scripture using a reading plan. Anyone know of such a plan or tips on easiest way to set it up?

Hi, MJ. Thank you. This is close to what I was after. I will probably add a few things like Ruth and Job and all of the Gospels, but it will save me some time when I put together a custom plan. Thanks again!
Hi TIm
I will probably add a few things like Ruth and Job and all of the Gospels, but it will save me some time when I put together a custom plan.
Not sure if you are aware of this but if you copy the information that MJ provided so it is in your clipboard you can create a Passage List from Logos from that.
Then you can create a Custom Reading Plan from that Passage List - so an easy, two-step process to turn the information MJ provided into a Reading Plan.
If you add in the extra readings you want to the List before creating the Plan you should be all set.
If any of this doesn't make sense please advise and we can provide more details.
Hi Graham. I was not aware I could do that. I have created custom plans in the past, but never using the passage list feature . I'll give it a try and let you know if I have any questions.
Is there a way to isolate passages of Scripture based on genre? Say a search that would return all passages that genre=narrative?
There is with a bit of work but I think it is defined at too detail a level to be useful. I don't know of any coding for both OT and NT but for the OT you can:
Or for the NT:
Acts would be separate; OT uses prose which is too broad
Thanks again, MJ. I played around with the searches you outline above. Using Anderson Forbes, it is also possible to select "story" as a genre. That seems to get at it a bit better. However, I think I would be better off starting with the reading plan you originally offered and going from there.
