Smart Tag Feature Disappeared

I had an automatic Logos update this week (Logos-x64) and now my smart tags are not working. I'm using Word 2013. The smart tag is no longer listed in the Word Options for me to select. I know it was there previously. I really rely on this feature. Any Suggestions?

The information on this wiki page should get you up and running again.

My Smart Tags option also disappeared, but the suggestions at https://wiki.logos.com/Smart_Tags does not help get me up and running. When I attempt to run the first command mentioned for Logos 6, Windows returns this error message: Windows cannot find C:\Users ... Make sure you typed the name correctly, and then try again.
Can anyone suggest what I'm missing or doing wrong here? I really depend on the Smart Tags with Word 2010 when preparing messages. Thanks!

It sounds to me like the error you are receiving is the result of the .dll file not being in the directory you have specified in the path. Locate where the .dll file is on your computer and insure that is the directory your path specifies. The other possibility is that you do not have that file. If that is the case download the file from the link on the wiki page and then register it.

What version of Logos are you running?
There was a problem introduced in 6.3 which was resolved in 6.3 SR 1 as per https://wiki.logos.com/Logos_6.3_SR-1

I'm running 6.3 SR 1 and the application of that update was when the problem began. I am still not understanding how to deal with the error message, as I did not type any pathway. I copy/pasted the command and attempted to run it. I recall having to run commands every time a new update came out starting with Logos 6, and for several updates thereafter.
Now when I try to run the previous command:
"%LOCALAPPDATA%\Logos4\System\Logos.exe" /register
I get an error message indicating that the location is not available. It worked for all the previous problems with Logos 6 and updates of it. Appreciate any help about how I can fix this.

Are you sure your system is installed in the Logos4 folder? Maybe a Logos log file would help top clarify that.

The "System" folder was replaced with Logos 6.3 so that won't work.
At the \Logos4 level you should see a couple of folders with numbers (including one named 6.3.0.0056)
Try using that instead of "System"

This is progress! Thank you, Graham. The commands succeeded this time without error messages. However, SmartTags in Word 2010 still doesn't work. I restarted both Word and Logos 6 after running the commands. Also tried the Registry edits needed and did delete the two things that should no longer be there, but Smart Tags still does not work.

Did you follow the advice in https://www.logos.com/articleviewer/530 for Office 2010?

Yes, Dave, I had been using Smart Tags up until the most recent update of Logos 6.3 SR1. That's when the ability to use it disappeared. It still shows under Options that it is enabled, but it still doesn't work. Any other thoughts as to what might be wrong? By the way, I have two identical computer systems (Windows 7), one at my home office and one at church office, and they both have the same problem, and none of the solutions offered have restored Smart Tags. Many thanks!

Thank you so very much! I was able to fix my smart tag issue by editing the Windows registry then re-registering the dll. [:)]

Good. I'm glad it worked for you.

Ever since the SmartTag Bible reference feature was broken in 6.3 SR1, I have been unable to fix it, despite trying to follow the recommendations in the forum.
Imagine my delight when, out of the blue, the installation of 6.8 restored this valuable tool! That is likely the best Christmas present Logos could have give me! Thank you very much!
A blessed Christmas to all!
