Scott's Bible

I was recently at the Library of Congress and saw Thomas Jefferson's original books, and found he had a large amount of space devoted to a multi-volume Bible commentary authored by Thomas Scott. Wish it was on Logos so I could see what Jefferson was seeing (assuming he referred to it much).

I don't know anything about it, but it sounds interesting.

I found this interesting page on the Scott Commentary.

Somebody in this discussion makes the comment that "It was Scott's Bible that the Treasure of Scripture Knowledge notes were largely taken from."
I suppose it might have some value after all.
