split screen
I am using the logos android app. I accidentally split the screen and can't get it back to normal. Does anyone know how to unsplit?
Thanks,
Steve

Hi Steve - and welcome to the forums
At the bottom of the screen dividing line there should be a semicircle. Drag that to the top / right and you should be back to one screen

I also have a question about the split screen on my Android. I want to place my Bible on the left of my screen and a commentary on the right and link them so they scroll together. The problem is that the textual comparison screen is locked in on the right, and I cannot figure out how to remove it and place my commentary there. How do I do it?
Thanks for the help!

Shalom Jeffrey!
You can drag the semicircle at the bottom of the screen to the left and open a commentary from your library. The selected commentary will take the place of the textual comparison screen and you can then restore the split screen.
Alternatively, you can use the back button or history to go back to the previous screen (i.e. before you opened textual comparison).

NO! I Can't! There is no way to open the library to select a commentary. The Text Comparison screen is locked in place and there is no way to get rid of it. That is my problem. There is no history for this screen before the Text Comparison. I don't even know how it got opened the first time, but the first time it opened Text Comparison was there.
I really need technical help from Faithlife. The normal way of selecting a commentary won't work because there is no BOOK open now. There is a FEATURE open in the split screen and there is no way to close it so I can open the library and select the commentary that I want to use.
On the left side of my split screen is the Bible I want to use. On the right side is the text comparison feature. According to the help video on Logos YouTube channel you are supposed to be able to tap the name of the book to open the library and select a new book. The problem is that there is no book on the right side of the split screen. There is a feature open, and I cannot close it or remove it so I can open the library and select my commentary.
When I open the library to select a new book it replaces my Bible on the left side of the screen and not the feature on the right side of the screen.

I'm seeing a toll free phone number on the website under support. If you use cellular service you may want to check your allotment of minutes. That said, not sure they are open today.

Very Good Idea, Steve! I will try them later today, but I doubt they are open since this is a holiday. Might have to wait until tomorrow to call them.

Just in case ... I'm sure everything will work out.

Please see this screencast: https://monosnap.com/file/QH7O4EvLXdqaZbQnx8jweaQsKRg5NA .
1) In the right panel, tap where it says "Text Comparison"
2) Once the Blue Logos icon with the arrow appears, tap on the Logos icon in the left panel.
3) Tap Library and then select the resource you wish to open.0 -
Shalom Jeffrey!
Just to make sure I understand your problem correctly: There is no way to open the library not even by means of the navigation drawer (side panel)? That the normal way of selecting a commentary does not work was already clear to me.

Hey, H.J.,
Not exactly! I was able to open my library, but when I selected the commentary I wanted it replaced my Bible on the left side of the screen instead of opening the commentary on the right side of the screen. I could not change the right side of the screen. It was stuck in Text Comparison mode and has been for many months. I was unable to change the right side of the split screen.
Thanks to Kevin's screencast and helpful instructions, I was able to get out of Text Comparison mode and now have my desired commentary on the right side of my screen and my ESV Bible on the left. They are also synced so that they scroll together, although I might undo that. I will have to wait and see how it works out for me.
Thank you so much to everyone who helped or tried to help. That is why I love this forum. Lots of people willing to help and share their knowledge and experience with others.

I use the Library item from the menu to get out of this problem.
