Bible 5.3.4 Build 503040100 - Bug on Bible Search Limits? My Ignorance?

  1. Select Search.
  2. Select Bible Search.
  3. Select NIV as Bible
  4. Select All Passages so I can limit scope to Isaiah as only book to search.
  5. Button to search Isaiah is missing.

I can't find any way to get a dialog to allow me to change the scope of the search from All Passages to Isaiah.

I could delete any of my custom search ranges, but I can't create a new one. For today's search (Cyrus; I wanted to know the 1st verse in Isaiah that referenced him), it wasn't a big issue since the term didn't appear very often in the historical books. But for other searches, it's a huge issue as there are so many results in books I DON'T want that I have to find a way to limit them.

What am I missing? Is this a bug? Or did I miss it when the former + button disappeared & some new method of creating search ranges was established. Do I have to create the search ranges I'm going to need on my laptop & then sync them to the phone? (I'm afraid I can't plan that well... LOL)

Thanks for the response...

Grace & Peace,
Bill

    Hi Bill,

This is a known issue with phone sized devices. The "All Passages" link isn't present in 5.3.4 for narrow devices; there's already a case. For wider tablet style devices it is still present. We hope to have this fixed in the next stable release.
