This has been bugging me for some time, but I can't delete saved passage ranges in the Bible search. Or, I can delete them, but they keep coming back. It doesn't happen immediately, so I think they're syncing back from another install.
Mark, I'm not able to reproduce this. I did the following on both Mac and PC using 6.12 RC-1 (I did the full cycle on one OS before I tried the other).
1. Created two custom ranges (Daniel; Revelation) and (John; 1 John; 2 John; 3 John; Revelation) and saved them.
2. Manually synced and closed the app.
3. Opened Logos and then deleted the saved ranges and manually synced.
4. Closed and then opened the app.
The deleted ranges did not show up at all.
Are there any other steps that you've taken?
I've been keeping an eye on this since my last post, and so far it's behaving. However, I haven't opened Logos from another machine yet. I'll do that soon, and let you know what happens.
I noticed today that all my deleted passage ranges have come back. They'd been gone for a few weeks. I can only think that they're syncing back from another machine. (I have three installs of Logos, but two I use only rarely.)
Now I have two copies of all my deleted passage ranges!
Bump. This is still a problem for me.
Mark, is this still occurring? Can you post both your regular and error logs?
I'm back down to one of each passage range. I can delete them, but they keep coming back (presumably from another install). Unfortunately, I don't notice when they come back, so I haven't captured a log.
