Possible to import other Bibles?

I am looking at ways to get some foreign language Bibles into Logos. I know you can create a personal book from a docx file, but having to tag every verse to get the full functionality makes it less than ideal. I have found versions of one Bible I want in Crosswire Sword format, an old xml file, and html. I can get the xml version converted and into Logos, but it needs a ton of cleanup (especially for the TOC). It would be so great if Logos could import some of these files as Bibles complete with verse tagging. Am I dreaming too big? .

Many have made foreign language Bibles here, you'd be better off just asking for that resource/language and see if someone will share it with you.

Looking for Azerbaijani (latin script) if anyone has it. There are many free versions online, just not that will work well with Logos =(.

Also, there are find/replace methods to speed up the formatting process which may be your only chance of getting the resource your looking for since it seems to be a less common language your asking for. See this post for some great time saving procedures.

Thanks. It's always hard when it seems all the free Bible apps already have it readily available (Sword, Bible.is, inScript, etc...) and I can't even get it in Logos if I pay for it. I'll take a look at these sites and decide if the effort seems worth it.

Looks like Bernhard's post is an excellent solution ... speaks to eSword and Logos both.

If you get too heavily involved with web Bible files and if schierim's code is not quite there, invest the time in writing your own parsers ... using macros, Basic, or more serious code. I have maybe a hundred, since I bring in a lot of files for linking into my own Bible software. Once you have one, they're easy to add to.
