Since I do not know David Sorenson, and since I live in an area where Independent Baptist means KJB fanaticism, what can you tell me that would make me want this resource?

Scooter, thank you for that link. I also found this link http://www.northstarministries.com/Genesis1.pdf and read his commentary on the first three verses of Genesis. I don't what to start a dispute/argument/discussion/debate, so i will just say, "Pass."
