How would I search this?

Of all the things I wished I could figure out, search is at the top of my list.

I'm writing a paper on the four gospels. I would like to view my resources that discuss the four gospels in some sort of article or chart or whatever. I'm not looking for information on each individual gospel, but the four of them collectively. How would I search that?

As you're looking for an article, rather than a whole book on the gospels, I'm going to disagree with Mick :-).

I would begin with the Factbook entry on the Gospels, which will point you to relevant dictionary articles.

You should also find New Testament Handbooks/Surveys useful.

Hello Mik, Mark, and Dave, I tried all of those and unfortunately it didn't give me much except the dictionary articles, and I have a Platinum package with lots if resources. What about charts, or all those Bible notes? How come the only thing that really comes up are the dictionary articles?

If you're not looking for dictionary articles, I'm struggling to think of what you're hoping a chart or Bible notes of the gospels might show (unless you're looking for a synopsis).

As I said earlier, the only alternative I can come up with would be a chapter on the gospels in an introductory NT book. You could probably find such books by filtering your library with title:("introduction", survey) title:("New testament", NT)

If you do this, then most of these books will have a chapter or two on the gospels, e.g. https://ref.ly/logosres/cpc-nti;ref=Page.p_123

Mark! Yes, that's exactly along the lines of what I was thinking. I have to write a paper on why the need for the four gospels. Since I understand that they are written by four distinct authors, who portray Christ in four distinct depictions, to four distinct audiences, for four distinct purposes, I was looking for some background information and discussion on them collectively as opposed to individually. Thanks for your help.

Edited to add that in a million years I never would have known how to create that filter. HOW DOES ONE LEARN THAT??? Is there a lesson or a guide or something?

It's just experience, and knowing your books. By the time you've finished your paper, you'll have plenty more information to pass on to others who will ask in the future!
