my content: is this a new thing?

just noticed that in the PG, under my content, I now see clippings i have done during research on my pericope. Is this new? Is this connected because i made clippings from resources out of the PG? HOW does this generate? i notice my notes did not show up. Still, this is a good thing!
Don't tell me this has been that way since november 4th . . .

lol, TB! seriously, when did it come out? this beta? i mean, i know about "my content' BUT I thought i had to add something into it. I have done clippings before and never noticed them appear in the PG My content section.
and how does it decide what goes in there?

It only finds your content if the PG you run spans across the verses that your content refers to.

Hi Rosie! if you are addressing when my content appears in general, yes, i have understood that. but my question is: since when did clippings appear in the PG, on their own? Maybe my powers of observation are not what i think they are, but i have just run PG's on past studies, and i am pretty sure that at THAT time (say, a month ago), my clippings were not being added automatically to ''my content." that is partly why i started organizing them in my favorites as Mark Barnes' video shows.

This is probably (but I don't know for sure), a change in Beta 6. We noticed that the My Content sections of PG, Search (for a Bible reference), and Explorer all returned different results, so we unified the logic. This is buried in the release notes (http://wiki.logos.com/4.0b_Beta_6) as "“My Content” sections in Search, Guides and Explorer now return the same results".

Yes, this is a new thing in Beta 6, and for me both clippings and notes now show up in "My Context" section of PG. This did not happen before Beta 6 for me. What I am still hoping for is that when I click on a link in the My Context section, not only will the right note file or clipping file open up, but will open up to the right place in the note or clipping file. Now the file opens with the first entry in the file

Hi Kevin. I realized yesterday that notes also show up in mine. But I think it has to do with how I name them. An earlier note with the text as a title showed up. But my current one, that had the topical heading: "Peter's Confession", does not. Must sort the notes by title. Maybe the clippings depend on works that are tagged by scripture. If so, I wonder if the WHOLE clipping file shows up, or only those that are clipped from "versified" resources. I suppose I could check that!
