Bug: Tab bar doesn't go away in reading mode on iPhone

The bottom tab/menu bar is persistent and does not disappear in reading mode.  See pic.

App version 5.4.5.  Problem is only on iPhone not iPad.

MacBook Pro (2019), ThinkPad E540

  There is an "Always Show the Tab Bar" toggle in Settings that you can turn off.
