Ok...are topic:word searches now working?

Is this new?
The topic search seems to be working...when you type topic: word you get hits ONLY in bible dictionaries and when you don't ...you get both library and dictionaries.

It's not new. It's the same old mix up that will always occur until Logos provide a Topic Search alongside Basic Search, Bible Search etc. Removing the Topics section from Basic Search is the only way to clear up the misconceptions that have been around since the secret beta.
Punishment does have results in the NA27Int, but is that the place you want to go looking for topics? You get them regardless with the current scheme.
Please Logos, provide a proper Topic Search that everyone can recognise and produce expected results.

If I recall, the "hangup" is in coding the resources rather than in functionality ... if my memory is correct, then we should see continual improvement.

People are more 'hungup' about the current arrangement and the spurious topic field. We are led to believe that Basic Search and Topic Search are almost synonymous when they require a totally different interface. However, part of the overall solution is the development and provision of topics and topic suggestions from outside the user's resources so that meaningful results can also be obtained from a suitable set of user resources (typically dictionaries).
