restoring from previous via sync

Last night I changed a collection instead of creating a new one. Is there any way to restore from a earlier point in time or does the sync only keep the current copy?

The collection is not a big deal. But in the future it would be nice to get back to a older version of a note or clipping file.

If you had noticed it immediately when you did it and pressed Ctrl+Z to undo, you could have gotten back your previous collection. But now it's too late. There is no way to get back to a prior version from the sync.

This is one of the irritations about the current user interface for Collections that we've pointed out to Logos before. It is too easy to accidentally overwrite an existing collection when you're intending to make a new one. I hope they seriously consider redesigning the UI as you're yet another person who has stumbled into this problem. Sorry for your loss. Pick up and start anew, and try to remember to click the "New" button next time after getting into Tools | Collections. And add your voice to the others asking for this change.
