I wanted to cut and paste a section of the TWOT on the Shemah for a blog. I opened TWOT and attempted to copy of the section that was pertinent to the argument I was making, and I could not do that.

When I highlighted the section, it automatically jumped to include the ENTIRE section. thinking that I could liver with that, and edit to what I wanted, I looked in vain for the "copy command" on the new menu box. All it contained was "open" "open in new tab" "Power look up" and others.

Finally, I got the copy command as I was posting. Why all the hassle?

That is spooky.

Hi John - I just tried it on my Macbook running L7 and it worked fine. What are you running on, and which version of Logos 6? (6.14 is basically the same code as 7).

EDIT: You do realise you can use the keyboard shortcut ctrl/cmd-C to copy, and ctr/cmd-V to paste? It's usually quicker than going through the menu.

I just tried this and it worked fine for me. It will select the whole paragraph if I have "Smart" selected under "Text Selection" in Program Settings.

You probably didn't have the top item (selection) selected on the right-hand-side of the right-click menu. It's likely you had "Reference" selected instead.

I did not consider the keyboard short cuts (I would use the old DOS code ctl +C) because I could not see that option. It worked on the blog. but I still believe that it may be a bug smewhere

What was really weird is that I could not use the "snipping tool" becaue using it just wiped off the problem dialog box.

Perhaps I have a gremlin in my Win 10, attributable to Bill Gates, but it is very strange that I could do as I wanted to do; it is working perfectly.
