$20 off from Faithlife. wondering what to do with it

I am just a layman, not a scholar or anything. I mainly use logos on my phone for taking notes. In January I bought logos 6, and went with the the standard or base package. I'm not sure whether I want to upgrade to 7, which is affordable for me right now, or get a bible or commentary. I don't use a tablet for personal reasons, so I don't want to waste money on a book I probably won't have time to read.

Hi Ezra
You could buy the Commentary and wait to the Free Core Engine of L7 in February

Hi Ezra
Do you use a desktop / laptop for Logos at all?
If you just use a phone you will get little / no feature ben in moving to Logos 7 so the question would be whether you want any of the resources that an upgrade would provide

Personally, I'd almost always go for a bundle/upgrade whenever I could afford it, but if you don't think Logos will become a key place to read long texts together then you need to work out for yourself what need you would most like addressed. Take into account that if you think you will lean in to the app more fully in future, the starter/core bundles will work as something of an investment, making future upgrades cheaper most of the time - but that's only if you think you will dig in to the app more fully.
It's a very individual decision, especially if you don't know how much use you'll get out of it. I've chucked out a few suggestions to see if any of them float your boat, but honestly I don't know what will be best for you.
You might want an extra study bible just so you have an extra place for quick reference that covers the whole bible and provides some maps and articles along the way - just a cheap and cheerful all-rounder.
You might think that while you don't like to read from a phone/PC screen all that much, maybe you could get through an audiobook or two - there's not that big a range available yet, but hopefully you can find something to your taste.
Or you might just want a bible translation that you don't currently own and go that way instead.
