Multiple Resources View always displays

Hi!

I really like the new multi-view feature in L7.  I'm wondering if I'm doing something wrong or if this can't be done with that feature.  I created my own layout with a Bible and a commentary using the multi-view feature.  It's a layout that I can quickly access whenever I just want to read that version of Scripture and that commentary.  However, if I run a reference and open up in the passage guide, that commentary shows with that Bible in the multi-view.  I know I can turn the multi-view off in passage guide which I've done but it doesn't retain that state the next time I open up passage guide.  When I return to passage guide later I find that commentary open with that Bible in multi-view.  Am I wrong expecting L7 to remember my settings in the passage guide?  It doesn't take much to hide that commentary so I'm not complaining.

Thank you and Lord bless!

You are not expecting too much. This is a design deficiency in Multiple Resources.

I haven't used the Multiple Resources features much, but the 'multiple' part has seemed (to me) to be determined by resource, rather than by the layout used. Perhaps that is not how it is intended to work.

Yes, that is the way it works.

I have a MR set up with ESV master and several Study Bibles as followers. I opened an instance of ESV and turned R off, then created a shortcut on the toolbar. 95% of the time, this shortcut opens ESV without the followers, but they are there in the III menu if I wan to turn them on. I have NIV84 with concise commentaries as followers. I did not create a shortcut for this one, and it always opens with MR active.
