Mobile Dictionary Search

Can anyone tell me if there is a way to access articles in a dictionary, such as The Harper Collins Bible Dictionary, more directly? I can click ang go to the letter the word I'm looking for begins with, but may have to spend quite a bit of time flipping page after page. Just seems there should be a quicker way.

I'm assuming it works the same way as the iOS app does in this respect:
Open the book from your library, tap the screen and type the topic that you're searching for (e.g. "Abraham") in the "enter reference" box.

Well I'll be...tap the page then tap the subject at the top to type new subject. Easy! Thanks a bunch!
