Discover a list of all references where a Greek word is used

I'm very new to Logos. The basic tutorial did not show how to get a list of all the NT references where a specific Greek word occurs.  I found "Bible Word Search" but that did not list the references.  I want to look up the references like an exhaustive Greek Concordance would provide.

John, In a Greek NT, right click on the target word, select lemma from the right side of the menu, then search this resource from the left side (You could also complete these steps by starting from an English translation with a reverse interlinear.

From the search results panel menu.select Save as Passage List

Your new Passage List has two display options—Full give the verse list with text

Compact only displays a list of verses containing the target word.

Does all this answer your question—or just muddy the water?

    Welcome [:D]

Another right click option for lemma is Bible Word Study (BWS)

Click on BWS ring segment to show all references for that translation. Click middle of BWS ring to show all references.

By the way, Logos wiki has => Examples of visual filters that are in NA28 screen shot to highlight Greek verbal range of expression and nominative case with prepositions, which can also be used in English, German, Latin, and Spanish resources with Greek reverse interlinears.

    Keep Smiling,

What kind of visual filter is that on your NA28?  Looks very nice. Is that a custom pallet you have created? if so, can you share it?

Jack, yes, either of these 2 display options is what I want.  I suspect I still don't have, or don't know where I might have, a basic Greet NT in my Logos 6.  Is it an add-on I should pay for?

Try searching in your library for:

    tag:biblegreek OR tag:bible-greek OR tag:greek-bible

If you have any Greek Bibles, which I would imagine you do (I believe there is at least one in the Logos 5 and Logos 6 starter packages), you will find them in your library by searching for these tags.

PS: You can also sort your resources by TYPE (click on the heading TYPE in your library), and then look for the LANGUAGE heading a see what you have under Greek.

You can also accomplish this by searching in your library for type:Bible AND language:Greek

I would not recommend this way without caveats.  This is dependent on cloud-based community tags which may not be available or accurate.  I have community tags turned off and I get no results from this search.

This is the recommended way--plus it's shorter. Also, capital letters are not necessary for matching.

Good point. I had not thought of that. But I do think its a good start for many...

It does seem a little more easily accessible in this manner, now that you mention it.

Correct. But I have found that it makes reading the tags / labels much easier in the forums, especially when they are co-mingled with a bunch of other text. So I generally use the capital letters just for ease of reading...And it helps me out when others do too, as I'm able to catch what others are writing faster and easier.

    Thanks for the input though.

You can get a Greek NT free as part of the Lexham Intro Collection.

This is a very good point to remember. Thank you so much for bringing it up. Don't know why I didn't think of this.

Personally have 10 visual filters enabled in NA28 that use custom palettes:

Logos wiki => Examples of visual filters includes: If join Faithlife group Logos Visual Filters, can copy Highlighting palettes then Visual Filters by clicking Get Copy to the right of the desired document name followed by synchronizing Logos. Alternative is Select All then Action => Get Copies

Shared years ago => https://faithlife.com/logos-visual-filters/documents (can filter document list for Logos prefix)

Copying visual filter into your Logos or Verbum should copy corresponding palette.
