Right click searching

I would like to be able to right click search within the UBS4 or NA28 and be able to have an option for this search to include the LXX. I would find this extremely valuable. In short it would be nice if we were able to customize the left hand side of the right click menu under 'Search' to include whatever collection we wanted to search. As well a few other options such as search  'this chapter' or 'this book' would be great additions well.

I know how to get this done the long way - right click search 'this resource' then modify the search to whatever parameters you want from there. But that gets old after a while.

Lee, I totally agree with you that the context menu should be customizable. However, here is a screencast video that demonstrates a function that might satisfy your need to see words used in the LXX without the cumbersome search strategy you describe. For this to work you need to have either L7 or LogosNow and have both your Bible and the BWS panels on the same link-set. I intentionally left the mic on and clicked my trackpad so you could see how quick the response was in BWS.

    Hope this helps!

    Reuben,

Thanks for this! I did not know about this function and it certainly helps. I tried it and it works well.

I'll remain hopeful that the smart guys in Logos will see the advantage to being able to do this directly via the right click menu. That would enable you to do root searches as well into the LXX from the Greek NT.

By the way I see you're using Logos LXX. I didn't realize until today that you can do Greek root searches within LXX Swete. You cannot do them in Logos LXX. That's a bit of a mystery to me too.
