whats new please
Could someone instruct me as to what is "actually" new to logos 7 if you paid for the full upgrade in tools etc?
I can find 2 things only ( finally have that but don't know if thats all there is) :
I have little icons next to biblical texts ( which have no use for me personally ).
I have a new icon for "multiple resources" - something I was already able to do without the icon , as far as i can tell.
Past that, I know of nothing, well, not exactly true, in tools there is a "courses" section ( not of use to me as far as i can see.
Sermon starter- seems little different and, not sure it works offline, but, was having logos issue I now think i have resolved and have not rechecked.
Basically I wondering if :
1. I finally got everything Im supposed to have.
2. What am I supposed to have ( figured out most of what I thought was helpful is only for the rental clients, not owners)
3. How do I find these features if they are here and I just don't know they are there.
Basically confused here.

Sorry I do not know how to link this. But under the comparison page there is a tab to compare feature sets. Click so that you "show all" as it starts of with what is new to you. It will have everything that the feature sets have.

While it includes Logos Now features i.e. Bible Browser, here is Mo's list
So to find the new features:
- Under the visual filters you should find several new options
- In the Passage Guide you should find several new sections
- In the Interactives you should find several new interactives and new search syntax for them
- the course tool has been rewritten
- the media tool has been rewritten
- the text comparison tool has been rewritten and made scrollable
- the concordance tool is new
- the sermon tool is completely new
But somehow I feel like this questions was asked very recently when you had problems with the version you were running. So if my answer is a bit repetitive ...

No you were able to do a similar function but this is truly a new function - one asked for many times. This is likely the most popular new feature.

Sermon starter is unchanged; however, there is a brand new document type sermon which has its own editor, generates slides, handouts and questions ...

Look at Logos 7 documents and web pages not Logos Now web pages to see what you should have.

If you were a Logos Now member, you would have had everything except the Bible Browser, Sermon document, reworked Courses tool, reworked Text comparison tool. If you did not have Logos Now then you would not have had any of the items I lists. That is why Logos Now is pitched as getting the new features prior to their release in the next Logos major release.
Note: Bible Browser and the forthcoming morph search builder are Logos Now features.
