Sermon file addin logos 6

I'm having problem with logos not adding sermon files to my book of sermons.
I have sermons in the book from earlier creations.
Lately (using word 2007 docx) on Win10 not creating the files, etc.
It was working fine seemingly until Win10...??
Any suggestions?

You are having problems adding a new docx file to your Personal Book on Sermons?
What happens when you click the Add file...button? How many files are listed?
If you have problems "creating the files, etc" in Word 2007 provide more information about this.

I need some clarification. So just a few questions:
When you say "sermon files", are you talking about sermons created in the L7 sermon editor?
The "sermon book" you are referring to, is that a Personal Book you created?
If you are talking about L7 sermon documents, they will not be added to your "sermon book".
If you are talking about sermons you are creating in Word, using the PB sermon table, those will not added automatically to your "sermon book". You have to manually add each sermon .docx to your PB and rebuild it.

I have a book created to put sermons I have preached in the Personal Books in L6.
It use to be, I could add sermons I preached into this book.
Now (using Word 2007) in Win10 I can’t get sermon files to be added any longer.
I can still add a docx file book into Personal Books, but for some reason my sermons
notes I type up in Word 07 (docx) and use the sermon file add-in just want work.
I copy and paste the box for text, topics, tags, etc…under heading.
I have not updated to L7 (probably want anytime soon)
I do manually add, rebuild each time, but without success.0 -
I am not sure why the these .docx files cannot be added. When you rebuild the book, are you getting any errors?
How many files do you currently have in this book.
EDIT: One additional thought. Try building a second book with just the files that you cannot add to the current book. Does that build successfully?

Hi Robert - I don't want to add confusion, but you are aware that Sermon File add-in and Personal Books are two different things? Personal Books replaced the old Sermon File Add-In some years ago, and I very much doubt the add-in would still work with Windows 10. I last used it with Logos 4 on Windows 7. I don't think the Sermon File Add-in is supported any more. I am assuming you are referring to Personal Books in Logos 6, using the Sermon type table at the top of the document.
Second, are you certain that you aren't typing your notes in Word in a .doc rather than a .docx file? I don't want to insult your intelligence, but I've been caught out like this a few times lately, where other products save Word documents as .doc files rather than .docx. I also inadvertently set Word to default to .doc format when messing with the settings. It is worth checking.
