Bookmarks

I am certain this has been hashed over 1000 times in earlier versions as well, but can someone tell me what Fathlife's aversion is to a simple bookmark capability WITHIN each resource?
I "get" the idea of Favorites - IFwe want to be more like browsers. Personally, that is NOT alI that attractive to me. That said, I DON'T get the goofy 9 bookmarks in a separate panel. But every e-reader out there, except Logos lets you simply set bookmarks in the books you are reading.
I'm not really complaining as much as wondering why in the world that seems to be odd or taboo within Logos? I'm no programmer by any stretch either, but it doesn't strike me as super difficult.
Anyway - I've asked my dumb question so I'll shut up now.
But maybe someone knows why this seems to be such a quirk with Logos.

That comes closest to dynamic bookmarking provided you know which of the nine you have used/reserved for the resource e.g. CTRL+Shift+4 (Windows) will use bookmark 4 for the resource, and CTRL+4 will open/move the resource to that bookmark.

I don't know, but UserVoice is a good place to request this facility (check it does not already exist).

Max fleetingly ran through my mind a while back but you reminded me of him again so found and ordered the complete set! Also ordered its possible inspiration, Neuromancer. While wondering through Memory Lane found and ordered When Things Were Rotten. Now if I could remember the name of the show about the same time that had the large detective's head always cut off the screen. Like Bob Hope says, thanks for the memories. [H]
Edit: I think the head cut off the top of the screen was Police Squad!

Neuromancer - wags say a Chinese outfit bought the rights in 2015 to bring it to film. So maybe soon. Screen play has been done for years. Now as for the detective, are you thinking of Sledge Hammer by any chance? Right around the same time. That brings me to the best of all - BuKaroo Bonzai! Oh, I must run and watch my DVD right now!
Thanks for the note!
