A 12 HANG: Scrolling thru resource

Hey Devs,

I know this issue was reported in a previous Alpha, but was unsure if you knew it was still around in A 12

Was reading thru the Baker Exegetical Commentary on John 20:23 when the program hung. Had to force quit

Hmmm. Nothing suspicious in the logs. Had you run a PG? Did you close any windows? Was it just scrolling? Just looking for anything that might lead us to something concrete and reproducable.

Yes, I had run a passage guide and I believe I probably had twenty commentaries open. They were not linked. As far as I know, I was only scrolling via touch pad. I didn't close anything (hence the twenty commentaries) This has happens every once and awhile for me. Usually the app just hangs. Is there any utility I can run on my end to get the info you guys need next time it happens?

Had a repeat of the hanging incident. I have more specific info for you now. I had run a PG and had just opened the UBS Handbook on Romans to Romans 1:9. When I scrolled down to read the app hung.

I tried to grab as much information on the hang as I could from the system. This zip file contains the Logos 4 log, the complete console messages, a sample of the non-responsive process taken by Activity Monitor, and Activity Monitor's record of what files and ports were in use by Logos 4 at the time of the hang. I have a hunch that the UBS resources may be causing the hang. I was doing translation work in Jonah about a month ago, and was having the same issue show up while reading through the UBS Handbook while translating.

Have you run "Update resources" recently? It appears that you have some out of date resources.

OK, Maybe that's not the issue. These versions appear more or less the same as mine. I wonder why you can't open them...

I'll file a bug on the scrolling issue too and we'll stick all your info in it.
