Failed Search...cannot search Bible
I am running into an error where I search for a word in the ESV Bible, which I have downloaded, and I get the result "search failed."
Example: I search for the word "father" (No quotation marks) in the New Testament and it will return search failed.
Can anyone help?
I have a Samsung S7 with Android 6.0.1

Do searches in other resources fail? My suspicion is that your ESV Bible resource has not finished indexing. Thus you can retry your search once the indexing has completed and your search should complete successfully.

First, I would say this should not be the error since I have had ESV downloaded to my phone for some time. However, just in case how do I tell my phone to index?

Please go online, remove the ESV and redownload it, then try your search again. There isn't a method for reindexing the Library in the Android apps.

Same here. Bible search on any word fails. Not only ESV but all Bibles or Top Bibles. All searches fail.

Can you please give some steps to reproduce this? What version of the app are you using, and which version of Android? https://community.logos.com/forums/t/118701.aspx .
Sorry, I've been using the Beta for testing - Passage Range searches we're an issue in 5.5.5 but are fixed in the beta. We intend to ship a new stable tomorrow that will have the fix.
