dual monitor highlighting issue

Forgive me if this has been answered before. I'm new.

I use a two monitor setup (windows) so I can more conveniently study a passage with the numerous commentaries and resources open. I save this layout and use it for most of my verse studies - it works great, but I just found out that highlighting doesn't work for the secondary monitor. I can highlight text just fine in the primary monitor, but when I try to highlight anything in the secondary monitor (i have a "floating panel" on the second monitor) it doesn't work. It's as if the highlighting feature only looks at the main monitor.

I use four monitors and have run across this. If you have something selected/highlighted on your primary display, and then you select and try to highlight something on your secondary display, highlighting will not work. You would need to make sure that you only have one thing selected at a time. For instance:

Note that I have text selected on both monitors. If I click on the highlighter, it will only highlight what is on the primary display, but if I deselect the text on the primary display, then it will allow highlighting on the secondary display. Is that the problem you are having?

I must have had something highlighted in one of the buried tabs on my primary display.

I tested what you said and found that even if the tab is not displayed the highlight will "go there" first.

Thank you for you post although it wasn't addressed to me. I upgraded to Logos 6 after not using my Logos 4 for quite some time and am happy with it on my new PC on sys 7. I recently bought a GTX 750 ti that can run four monitors because I am a Flight Simulator player and pilot also. I have hooked up three monitors so far and am considering four. I certainly understand how one can use four monitors in Logos and love it. Can you tell me what video card you are using, how you have your monitors organized and what size they are? Last week I found my third 32" tv for $115.00. So I'm waiting for Fred's Senior sale and maybe pick up another one. Be blessed. Henry.

I have two GTX 970s. I run two 23" LG monitors on the desk level, and then I have two 21" Asus monitors above those. It would be hard for me to fit four 32" monitors in my space!
