Export Word List to Visual Filter?

I am wondering if anyone knows a way to transfer a Logos Word List into a Visual Filter.

I want to compare common wording between several passages, so I have created word lists for each passage in BHS and merged the two lists with intersection selected. From there, I want to make a visual filter with these common words so that they are highlighted when I read the passages. However, I have not found a quick way to bridge the gap between Word List and Visual Filter aside from entering each word one at a time.

Any ideas? I am running Logos 7 on Mac.

I know of no other way to do this.

If you're confident manipulating text files there is a way of doing it, that is quite tortuous and involves some messy searching, but worked for me to highlight all hapax legomena in the New Testament. I found the easiest way of doing it was to use a morph, rather than a Bible search, as this reduced the amount of fiddling with the text file.

To produce it, I did the following:

1 Open the Word List Document.
2 Click on the document menu at the top left-hand corner of the pane.
3 Select Print/Export.
4 Choose to save it as a CSV file.
5 Once saved, open it in Excel.
6 Delete all columns except the one containing the lemma (probably the first column).
7 Save as a CSV again.
8 Open in your favourite text editor (I use BBEdit) or Word/Pages.
11 Search and replace every new line with “,lemma:” (without the quotes)
12 Amend the resulting string so that it begins with “lemma:” (without the quotes) and doesn't end with it.
13 Copy the whole string to your clipboard.
14 Create your Visual Filter document.
15 Set the search type as “morph”.
16 Paste the whole string into the search box.
17 Select your highlighting.
18 All the words in your word list should be highlighted. If not, type the search string into a normal morph search and check whether it produces any results.

There’s probably a far simpler way, but this was the method that seemed to involve least manipulation of the Word List to turn it into a search string. I haven’t managed to find a syntax for listing a whole load of lemmas in a normal Bible search, which would have been my preferred way of doing it. I've no doubt someone cleverer will be along in a few minutes with a far simpler method!

Thank you Greg, really appreciate the response and that's exactly the sort of thing I was looking for!

It took me a little bit to figure out the text manipulation piece (Hebrew kept rearranging on me), but now that I've got it down I can do the whole process in about a minute, which is far better than entering each value one at a time.
