I've tried to install 4 times but with no success.  On the download screen the progress bars get to 100% but nothing further happens.  When left alone the process started all over at least once.  The only option is to cancel.  Then I am told that "no changes have been made" and "am I sure I want to quit."  Libronix 3.0g, Windows XP.  I've downloaded other software into my Logos with no trouble.   Can anyone help?  I'm not very computer savy but I really love my Logos.

    Ted,

First you need to empty your browser cache so the partially downloaded file is no longer on your hard drive. In Internet Explorer 8 go to Tools|Internet Options and select the General Tab. In the section entitled Browsing History click on the Delete button. Older IE editions have this option in other places and it is called other things. In Firefox go to Tools|Clear Recent History.

To be extra cautious after doing this, reboot your computer. Then try the download again.

Save ftp://ftp.logos.com/lbxbooks/MWDICT11.lbxlls to C:\Program Files (x86)\Libronix DLS\Resources. If you've installed Logos into a custom directory just put the file in your resource folder. Start Logos and try to open the dictionary.

    Mark,

I tried your plan and then tried Mark's and was able to download the file to my resource folder but Logos doesn't  know it is there.  Seems like something is missing.

How did you get the license to Merriam Webser's dictionary? Did you get it in a base package or as a separate purchase? If you got it as a separate purchase there should be an orange "Unlock and download" button on your order page. If this is not working you may have to call customer service to get the license file corrected so you can use the book.

    Kevin,

Tried your plan and was successful in downloading it and even though it showes up in Resource  folder, Logos doesn't know it is there.  I also trtied both your plan and Mark's on my Laptop with 3.0g and Visrta with the same results.  Seems like I'm missing something.

In your library, change the view to show locked and see if it shows up then. If so then your program doesn't think you have a license to use this book. If you've tried both mine and Mark's solution it sounds like there was an error in the unlocking process and you need to call customer service to get it fixed.
