New Clippings and Notes files

It would be helpful to have an "Add to New Clipping" and "Add to New Note" file options on the context menu. If I right click a highlighted section, the option currently is to add to the last opened clipping or note file. If that's not what I wish, I have to stop, create the new file, and go through the process again. Thank you.

Here's a shortcut I use to get around this issue. I have created a note file called, "Serendipitous Notes" and a clippings file called, "Serendipitous Clippings." I have a shortcut for each on the shortcut bar.

If I find my self reading or studying and want to make a quick note, I click the former on the shortcut bar and thus that is available in the context menu. For a clipping, I click the latter with the same result.

I can then move the note or clipping to an established note file, or if necessary create a new one and move it there. This keeps me from having to stop and do the creating while I'm reading.

Hope this helps. There are probably other solutions, but this one works well for me.

This is, by the way, one more GLARING example of how badly the shortcut bar needs updated icons, or better yet, customizable icons. Please vote for that upgrade here-
