Adding a Reading Plan to Logos
Hi,
I have owned Logos software for several years but to be honest I use it very little. It is like a shinny tool that looks great but after the initial few weeks the sheen wears off and it collects dust.
90% of the time I simply go to the bible as part of my daily reading and that remaining 10% of the time I do a little research because I have a particular question about my daily reading. The plan I (and the men's group I have been leading for 5 years) am working through daily is:

...but this is just one example of the issue I am facing (I don't want to make this about that particular reading plan)
Specifically my issue is that it is very easy to leverage the Bible app/You Version app (https://www.bible.com) to gain access to this plan (or any number of other plans) and as a result I end up using the Bible app instead of Logos to do my daily reading. Of course the Bible app/You Version combo allows for daily eMail pushed/reminder to keep the daily reading "topical".
Is there a way within the Logos tool set to import reading plans such as the one above which would provide daily support (eMails, txts, etc)?
Ideally I would like to use the power of Logos to accomplish both my daily reading and research in the same tool.
Any thought?
Best,
Tom

There is no way to import a plan. Customized plans need to be created on desktop. There is a "reading reminder" setting in the app, but it doesn't send emails or texts.
I agree that YouVersion has a great app. It serves a different purpose and clientele, but I wish we had more features in the mobile app... especially related to reading plans.

Thanks for the prompt feedback. I asked the same question about 4 years ago and was curious if anything changed. Good point about the clientele. It might be worthwhile for Logos to look at this as a way to convert the YouVersion clientele to the Logos clientele. That is, start simply with the YouVersion type of functionality and as they grow they can seamlessly migrate into the hard core Logos functionality.
Thanks again.
Best,
Tom
