Change Read Through The Bible In A Year settings

How do I change the settings of the Read Through the Bible.  Currently the day I opened it, the current date defaulted to Gen 1.  I would like to change that so that Gen 1 starts on Jan 1 and access today's reading accordingly.  I do not see settings control to alter how the readings are controlled.

    Welcome! [:)]

I do not know if the plan can be adjusted that way on mobile or not... In any case, it is easier to do on the desktop app. You create the plan with the starting date you desire, and you can easily have "mark as read" the readings up to present.

Thanks.  I am using an iPad app.  All of my reading is in that format.  The desktop won't help me as much since that is more used by the family.

I actually figured it out, though.  On the Left side pull-down menu; under Documents; I pressed the + button, which opened up a "New Document" window.  I selected "Reading Plan" there.  That offered numerous "Preset Reading Plans" available to be added to my library of plans.  Above that, however, at the top, is a "one-year Bible modifiable plan".  Selecting "Today" allowed me to change the plan to the current date, with all previous dates marked "accomplished".

I've got a good feeling that this Verbum resource could be really helpful.  I just need to figure out how to make it all work for me.  The reading plan was step one.  Thanks for your response, trying to help, and getting me started.

    Hi Brian

Just to make the point that while you may not 'use' the desktop application very much there are some things that it is simply easier to set up on the desktop and that will then sync to your  iPad.

I appreciate that.  I will check it out.  I tried to find the "desktop app" mentioned above for my mac, but came up empty in the App Store.  Went back to the iPad and eventually figured out a way to make it work, and really pleased with it now actually.

What is the App name I would look for?  Verbum?  I would like to see what that looks like.

    Thanks!
