I can repro this. Seems to be a Mac only thing. I'll report it. Thanks for letting us know.

Good morning,
I'm having the exact same problem and get the same thing as pictured above, except no red underlines indicating a misspelled word. Program settings: Check spelling while typing: YES. It does nothing like it's not there. Any thoughts? Thanks!
