BUG in search or misunderstanding?

I have been trying to find example resources for each of the search fields available to me. These four:

abbreviated form
Aeolic Greek
lexeme
attached particle form

cannot be found even with a wildcard. Is this an error? How do I find which resource uses them?

As far as I know lexeme searches can only be conducted in the Andersen-Forbes from a Syntax search.

After talking to some devs, it looks like you might have had resources that had those fields at one time, but hid them. They would still show up in the search fields (because its based on the index). They thought reindexing would eliminate fields that where the are no longer resources that correspond.

Unfortunately, I doubt this explanation because:

They could have come from temporary resources but I doubt that as well.

I take that you do not have any of the resources I mentioned?

I don't know how many morphologically tagged Greek texts you have, but assuming you don't have 200 of them, you should be able to see from the library pane, info, which ones have these fields (if any).

I am not sure what to think of the significance of the * search. I find that Logos does not handle it well, perhaps because its scope is way too broad. Whenever I try one of those I either get tired of waiting forever (with my system hogged) or I get no results. I could be mistaken but I get the impression that the wildcard works best in conjunction with something else rather than on its own.

Expanding on examples from Francis, used Logos Greek Morphology Search for all parts of speech:

These four:

Three of these search fields have results in a few resources with Logos Greek Morphology. None of the Logos Greek Morphology resources in my library have lexeme field, actually do not have lexeme in any resource:

Definitely come from the Greek TR bibles, except 'lexeme'; which isn't in my library of resources.

'Lemma Text' occurs in LHI and DSSI (DSS Interlinear), but I can't ascertain any practical use.

By itself it has to be catered for in the search engine (for special cases), but that hasn't happened here. It does work work better with partial words e.g. lord*, god* which will find "lord's" and "god's" as well as "lorded"

I believe - but could be wrong of course - that "Lemma Text" is the result of a typo. It should be simply "Lemma" and allow one to search in the corresponding interlinear line.

The reason I think it is a typo comes from comparing the resource search field description:

"Lemma Text - Text that appears in its dictionary form"

with the help file where we find:

"lemma — Text that appears in its dictionary form"

Looks like the word "Text" might have made its way in the field name from the description.

But as I said, that's only an opinion, I could be wrong about this.
