Program Crashes and Hangs.

As I try to go into 'Guides' and select 'Passage Guide', the program immediately crashes and comes up with the 'Send Error Report to Microsoft'. When I have pressed 'Send' the report prior to this occasion, the popup seems to hang without actually sending off the report. This time, instead of trying to cancel the Send and then 'Control Alt Del' the whole program through the task manager, I decided not to cancel the popup Send to Microsoft and proceded straight to the Task Manager to End Process for Logos 4. When this happened, the Send popup was activated and showed the report being sent to Microsoft. It also created the log files that previously did not occur when I had cancelled the 'Send Error Report'. Maybe if I had waited longer before cancelling the 'Send Error Report' popup, it would have produced the log files, but after a minute or so, I thought that nothing seemed to be happening.

In addition to not cancelling the 'Send Error Report' this time, I let it sit on screen while I added anothe 'Passage Guide' bible reference search which it allowed me to do. It then began the second search process. I then tried to delete the previous Passage Guide search (From Maccabees 1:1) which had been causing the program to crash previously (and has been the subject of my previous postings) AND it would not let me do it.

When I logged in again to see if the first Passage Guide search from Maccabees was still in the first search window, it had been replaced by the bible reference for the second search (from Corinthians). I do not know if I solved a problem, generally speaking, or simply solved a specific problem when searching from Maccabees or from 'apocryphal books'. My instinct would be not to try to search from apocryphal books again, except, as a Catholic, these are part of our official biblical canon of scripture.

My near final comment or question is whether what I have posted so far is absolutely useless for your purposed or is on the right track. I am not a blogger and so am unaware of the protocols and processes that my current blogger colleagues may know and are using. Finally, this blog has a fair bit to do with programming issues, which requires some knowledge of the working of this new program. I hope mine is adequate. I will bungle along.

I then proceded to shut down the Logos 4 program, as mentioned above

    Hi Tony, thanks for bearing with it, we appreciate your feedback and you are doing great with following the 'protocol' :) As long as you keep the steps clear everything will be great. A good way to keep the steps clear is to numerically list the steps such as:

    1. Open Logos4

    2. Click Guides-->Passage Guide

    3. Type in '3 Maccabees'

    4. <<Crash>>

    By the way, we were able to reproduce this problem you logged, thanks!

    I experience somthing similar to Fr Tony but was running a passage guide for a section in Hebrews.

    1.. Open Logos4

    2. Click Guides-->Passage Guide

    3. Type in Hebrews 11:39-12:3

    4. Passage Guide started generating

    5. Start to scroll window down  and  <<Crash>>
