This isn't possible since Word can't support the variety of markup styles that Logos has. PDF is the best option for that.
But newer versions of Word allow you to open PDFs (right-click the file, "open with") and I think that will keep those highlights intact.
I think you are mistaken. If Word doesn't have the ability to utilize the highlighting style, it doesn't matter what format you bring it in with.

I have done some testing just now. Using Word to directly opening the PDF or converting the file with free online conversion tools, will preserve visual filters as pictures, but some of them end up in wrong places or have other problems. In the threads above, Sascha seems to suggest that a conversion using an Adobe subscription (https://acrobat.adobe.com/us/en/landing/exportpdf-pricing-b.html) leads to better results.
