Can you have several search windows open at one time?
Yes. Right-click the Search icon, and choose Open in Floating window.
Actually, you don't even have to float a window...just keep-a-clickin' the search icon and let 'em stack up.... [:D]
You can move them around and arrange them as you see fit.
