LASTCHANCE not honored

I'm very disappointed that my "LASTCHANCE" discount did not work. I was rung up for full price on Leaders Package. And I wasn't given the option to get Disc copy vice download. It's been four days and Logos has not answered my emails. If Logos is reading this, when can I expect a response? I'm excited to get started with Logos. <><

For an issue like this, I would suggest a phone call to their customer service line. I haven't seen them address any sales related issues in the forums.

IF you were in time for the discount....rest assured that Logos is a reputable company and they will honor what they've advertised....(I don't speak for Logos as I don't work for them but this has been my experience)

Also they are very accomodating on the disk situation.

Your best bet would be to call them directly...the email system is very slow....they are swamped.

Bob Pritchett (owner of Logos) says that they've exceeded their sales predictions many times over and so they weren't ready for what happened with L4...it was much more successful than they anticipated....so....call them rather than email....

I think it is better to take away the word disappintment from our vocabulary,I do not have any bad exprience with Logos as well.I am very confident myself they will respond it poitively.

Logos: I know things are very busy for all of you. I humbly ask that you bump this issue to the top. He is serving his country and representing Jesus within the military; not always an easy thing to do.

I think most of us here, even if we were waiting for an answer about an issue, would gladly step aside as you called our brother to the "front of the line" as it were.

Hi Dave!

I knew Logos would take care of this quickly. I had the same strange behavior when I bought my wife the Bible Study Library. I had to use a different computer to order it from the one my license is installed to. I have no clue why. I did successfully get the Last Chance discount applied in the waning hours of the sale.

btw: My son just finished his Navy Corpsman training and was hopeful he would be sent to Haiti with 4 of his graduating class. Instead it looks like he will be attached to the Marine division from OKC and will rotate through Afganistan.

Burning your bridge behind you doesn't sound very pragmatic to me [:D] Aside from the ethics inherent in such a plan, most of us pay with Credit Cards, and as such could dispute the billing, not to mention customer loyalty would take a nose dive.

Dan's response was the correct one ethically and from a business standpoint as well.

I have had a similar issue with the updater. I signed in and was trying to update from Gold to Platinum and I received one price. I went to get my credit card and signed in again and obtained another price. Logged off, cleared my cache, cookie, et al., signed in a received yet another higher price. I sent an e-mail to sales@logos.com and trust that there will be a resolution. I have been purchasing from Logos for many years and trust that they always do the right thing. I was concerned that the e-mail box wasn't monitored regularly based on the posts here.

While this isn't normally the case, it may be at the moment.

They only have a set number of people, and from what I understand (which could always be wrong) they are dealing with a lot of phone traffic, so the email response time is going to take second seat to the phone lines.... (my understanding once again, is they are frantically trying to hire new staff to keep up with the traffic)

-There has been a tremendous response to L4, therefore a great increase in customer service needs, (just look at the forum numbers... from well less than 10,000 just weeks ago to now approaching 20,000!... WOW)

-I'd suggest you call, but understand you will be on hold for a number of minutes, but they will get to you and they will take care of you....
