Dictionary (tab) keeps opening while I am trying to highlight

For weeks now (actually ever since 7.x came out and I began to use LogosNow) I have noticed that when I try to highlight something, instead of highlighting the text Logos opens a dictionary tab.
Most annoying and fairly frequent. This happening to anyone else?
I have a Windows 10 Surface Pro. I also do not think it is my mouse calibration either (though it is wireless and a Logitech).
Ok back to my schoolwork where I am finding Logos would rather open a dictionary than highlight....sigh.

Yes, it happens at times ... I blame it on the chair to mouse interface (how my finger clicks the mouse) and get annoyed at the length of time spent waiting for the dictionary to open.

I think it is something I need to learn to live with. Sometimes Logos is just going to randomly open a book or a dictionary while I am highlighting.
Glad to know I am not the only one experiencing this glitch. My mouse to keyboard connection may be the problem but I find highlighting using a mouse is tricky.

You misunderstood me ... it is human error not computer error ... in my case the indecisiveness of age sends a double click when I mean a simple click and hold ..

With Logos 4 learned to click and wait since sending another click can cause more to happen.
Also needed hardware replacement due to tendency for double click to be sent when single was intended (happened in many applications).

Now for apparently no reason at all - the New Living Translation is opening up in another tab.
Honestly, Logos is just an odd inconsistent product....sigh.

Nothing happens for no reason at all.
It opens for a reason you don't recognize yet.
What exactly are you doing when the NLT opens?
Thanks to FL for including Carta and a Hebrew audio bible in Logos 9!

First, remember that a computer is really, really dumb ... it knows a grand total of two things ...NOT and either OR or AND.

It is very difficult to make a computer program behave inconsistently although you can fake inconsistency by selecting a "random" starting point such a the timestamp ... However, if you are accidentally holding the CTRL button down when you click you will see the behavior you describe.
