What is the best "string" to use to place all of my Calvin 500 books in a collection for searching?

    Sorry I know of nothing to type to auto populate the collection. So throw on your favorite music, name the collection, and manually drag each resource into the collection. I have done this for numerous collections and you will be done faster than you think.

    I have 2 Calvin collections: one is 'Calvin primary' for Calvin's own writings and the other is 'Calvin' which includes secondary literature. I don't know much about making collections and very simply typed in Calvin in the the start with all resources matching box. I had to make a few 'minuses' but I didn't miss anything that I'm aware of. 

    Later I found this rule 

    Subject:Calvin, Author:"Calvin, John", Title:Calvinism 

    but it doesn't catch all of my Calvin resources.

    Refining a collection rule involves finding resources that ought to be included

    Vyrso ebooks:

    Adding an eBook to a collection has two options: manually drag to include OR manually tag:

    Manually added tag to an eBook with significant John Calvin content followed by modifying collection rule:

    Subject:Calvin, Author:"Calvin, John", Title:Calvinism, MyTag:Calvin

    Another refinement possibility is Title so filtered Library:

    Title:Calvin -Subj:Calvin

    that found one "Calvin" resource without John Calvin content. To exclude a resource from a collection, can drag to "Minus these resources" OR refine collection rule:

    Subject:Calvin, Author:"Calvin, John", Title:Calvin, MyTag:Calvin -Title:Roetzel

    To refine author, filtered Library by

    Author:Calvin

    then sorted by Author

    that found Calvin, Jean so refined collection rule:

    Subject:Calvin Author:"Calvin, J*" Title:Calvin MyTag:Calvin -Title:Roetzel

    To find Library resources with Calvin in description, but not in collection, can use filter:

    Calvin -Subject:Calvin -Author:"Calvin, J*" -Title:Calvin -MyTag:Calvin

    that shows my Library has 160 resources with "Calvin" in the description.

    Can search dynamic collection of 160 resources for Calvin articles:

    that shows 60 out of the 160 resources have Calvin articles; not know about John Calvin content in the other 100 resources. Also many of the 60 resources have a single article. Can search for more Calvin articles (Heading, Large Text, Title) using a dynamic collection of:

    Lang:English -Subj:Calvin -Author:"Calvin,J*" -Title:Calvin

    For resources with significant John Calvin content, can add Calvin tag for Calvin collection addition:

    Subject:Calvin Author:"Calvin, J*" Title:Calvin MyTag:Calvin -Title:Roetzel

    Have already added Calvin tag to 53 resources with significant content (albeit may not be majority content):

    From Calvin article search, anticipating more resources to be tagged Calvin.
