Not succeeding in building personal books
Can someone please help. I'm still new to Logos Bible Software. I tried following the directions for creating personal books, but each time I try I keep getting this message: "Build successfully with 986 errors, 0 warnings." How can I rectify this problem?

When you attempt to build the resource you should be given the option to view the log file
What does that say?
What errors does it indicate?

This is what I receive each time I try:

The "could not remove existing resource" message typically happens when the resource you are trying to build is already open (and linked to other open resources).
Ensure that the target resource is closed and - ideally - ensure that all other resources are closed as well and then try again

The personal book compiler can actually do quite a bit. But the learning curve can be a bit steep, and like many things with computers, a tiny syntax error can throw off quite a bit. Some of the more common errors I have made is having only one [ or ] when there should be two, as well as other small stupid typos. Please post the error log - it can give the needed info if you know how to read it - which some of us who have worked with personal books have learned over time.
As for the second error about not removing the book, I have found that sometimes a restart of Logos is required to clear it.

For clarification: The book IS successfully compiling, but there are "errors." That could mean anything, and since you are compiling a book from another source (you didn't create the source material), any number of things could be at play. Have you opened the book and looked around? It may be nothing at all (as far as you are concerned).
