Hello,

I was wondering if there was a minimum number of words that needed to be highlighted in order for the highlighted selection to show up in the pallet-specific note file.  From my own testing it appears that I need to highlight at least five words, is this a bug?

You can highlight as short as a single character, and that highlighted selection will show up in the corresponding Note document. Just tried it on iOS and macOS.

What platform are you using? You may have to provide more details.

Thanks to FL for including Carta and a Hebrew audio bible in Logos 9!

So it appears that when I highlight one word ("Greek") it shows up under "Full" but not under "Quotes."  This is unfortunate because I usually have Quotes as my default...

Br. Anthony - That may well be a bug ... it is worth reporting it as such

Orthodox Bishop Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."; Orthodox proverb: "We know where the Church is, we do not know where it is not."

This behavior is by design. The Quotes view is not intended to display all notes attached to selections, but only those longer than a certain minimum length. This is intended to capture notes that are attached to a quotation by an author and skip words or short phrases that don't represent a quotation of the text.
