I don't see an easy way to access the New to Me information. I have to add an expansion to the cart, go to the cart (the cart at the top of the page isn't updated to indicate anything in it), click on the item in my cart to get to the product page to see the New to Me. Am I missing an easier way?

So, there's no way for me to see what is new to me when I purchase one of these bundles?

Never mind! I just searched for "library expansion" and found the product pages.

I can find them this way, but when displayed, they are not in order by title or by price. If I select the option to sort by title (so that when there are multiple bundle sizes such as small, medium, and large for the same bundle category all three bundle sizes will be together), it takes me out of the expansion sets and displays ALL resources from the Logos store in alphabetical order. NOT at all helpful.Joseph Turner said:Never mind! I just searched for "library expansion" and found the product pages.
Is there a way to display JUST the expansion sets in alphabetical order?
EDIT: My Bad. I "thought" all the listings would be, well... Expansion Set bundles, and that's what was showing up originally in the first several pages I looked through that came up as a result of my library expansion set search. But when I tried to sort the list alphabetically, the first several pages were coming up as individual titles--no expansion sets listed. But upon closer examination after trying the sort again, I saw the same number of pages listed and the expansion bundles are in there, just much farther back. So what threw me was the assumption that only expansion bundles would be included in the search results. Sorry for the trouble.

Does my link not sort by name, new bundles only? It seems to work for me!
What I cannot work out is the pricing ... when I add something to the cart it shows the same as the product page ... a 20% discount for LogosNow ... but nothing for having a Logos 7 base package. Even adding a base package to the cart does not change the price of the bundle.

Okay, when I switch from mobile view to desktop view, I can see the dynamic price. Everything's good!

This seems to be just 15% off for L7 owners.
Except the base price for that bundle is $329.99 so it looks as though you are $30 off for products you already own - you can check on the product page - after which the L7 discount is being applied

The 20% Logos Now discount is not a cumulative discount on top of the Logos 7 15% off discount. You either get 15% off (with a Logos 7 purchase) OR you get 20% off (with a Logos Now Membership).

Thanks for making these available! I looks like the Logos 6 topical bundles were pulled?

When I see a product page like this, I wonder why so much information is omitted. For example, these sections are completely missing:
- Overview
- Key Features
- Product Details
- Individual Titles
I also wonder about the dynamic price.
I own 4 of the 9 books, but the discount for what I own is only $6.59. Digging a little deeper, 3 of the 4 books don't have prices. That's because they're not books, per se. They're excerpts from books belonging to the Abraham Kuyper Collected Works.
So, this collection doesn't contain 9 books, it contains 6 books, plus 3 free excerpts from books.
So, I own 1 of the 6 books in this library expansion, and I'm getting a discount for a single book, since the other 3 resources were free to begin with.
Of the very first library expansion product page I looked at, it seems to need work.
I also wonder why FL would include free resources in a library expansion? Didn't they have enough actual books to make up this particular expansion set?
Thanks to FL for including Carta and a Hebrew audio bible in Logos 9!

Suggesting you get a discount with an L7 purchase, yet only giving the discount to non-LN members, seems odd.

I jumped on the Small Theology. I was hoping for some good stuff in the bible backgrounds but I didn't see anything interesting for me in them. I was hoping for bible background commentaries, manners and customs, COS, ANE, etc.

I think 20% off in total is a pretty good deal. They've decided to bundle people in whether they've bought a base package or not, so I see your point, but if they had have done it as an additional discount, I'd have been shocked if they offered more than 5% on top of the base package discount. We've done well, I reckon.

It looks there's no Catholic Studies expansion package yet. Is there any chance that we'll see a Library Expansion akin to the old "Logos 6 Catholic Studies Bundle" in the future?

Too many old books from early 1700-1800s & not enough "recent" books for me.

Most of the stuff in the Logos 7 expansion bundles are just "bloat." Very few useful books in each bundle. But it also depends on what we are looking for. For example, the Theological Bundle S is well worth the price for the Theocratic Kingdom (3 vols). So the key is to look closely at what is being offered. It is worth your time to research the individual items in each bundle.

It's an extremely niche work useful primarily for people interested in 19th century dispensationalism. Even at that price, most people would be better served by other works--even if they want dispensationalism.
For me, this & Rushdoony ([^o)]) are the only significant sets I'd get with the XL package. Granted, I have a lot of theology works already. BUT for people looking to expand a base Logos library so that they have a well-rounded range of useful theology works--these bundles are are pretty much the opposite of that.
ETA: By way of contrast: I got the Logos 6 XL Theology Bundle: it had some filler, a good number of moderately to very useful volumes, and a great deal on Pannenberg's ST. Pannenberg! The present bundle doesn't have anything remotely comparable.

It's not merely a problem with 1700s and 1800s filler. In one bundle, FL included a cheaper 2003 edition of a book, instead of the more expensive revised 2006 edition.
Sadly disappointing this version, considering that the L6 bundles had a much better selection of books worth purchasing.

In L6, these were called topical bundles. In L7, they're no longer called topical bundles, but they still are topical in nature (at least to start), and there is a master bundle containing each topic's resources.
Whether FL will add denomination-based expansion packs under the same category as these is uncertain.

Why should there, when we already have denominational base packages?
A missiology expansion pack would have been interesting, or denominational expansion packs that have no base packages (such as Restoration Movement).

That was my thinking, however FL had offered denominational expansion bundles for L6.
I recall a Lutheran collection, but I believe only a couple of the denominations had them.
I imagine it was just another way for FL to sell resources that hadn't made it in to their denominational library.

The L7 base packages have that same problem, and have since launch. They say dynamic pricing is working and seem uninterested in fixing the total value and are committed to showing partial collections, no matter how little is included (the cause of the discrepancy). Doing the math on our own is an inconvenience, but I would not hold my breath for a fix at this point.

Best to my recollection we had;
- Anglican
- Baptist
- Lutheran
- Methodist & Wesleyan
- Orthodox
- Pentecostal & Charismatic
- Reformed
- SDA
- Verbum
We never got a Restoration Movement package. [:(]

Hmm. Either they were phased out, or very well-hidden for L6. I never knew of a P&C library expansion bundle.
I can only assume they didn't have enough books to have made a P&C Platinum library, since base packages tend to have better (cost per book) discounts.
Perhaps that's the reason why they offered denominational bundles in addition to libraries, because they make more profit off of the bundles.

Matthew's recalling the L6 base packages, not the L6 bundles. The L6 bundles were:
- Logos 6 New Testament Studies Bundle
- Logos 6 Old Testament Studies Bundle
- Logos 6 Greek Studies Bundle
- Logos 6 Ancient Texts and Translations Bundle
- Logos 6 Bible Backgrounds Bundle
- Logos 6 Church History Bundle
- Logos 6 Church Fathers Bundle
- Logos 6 Preaching and Sermons Bundle
- Logos 6 Theology Bundle
- Logos 6 Philosophy and Apologetics Bundle
- Logos 6 Pastoral Care and Counseling Bundle
- Logos 6 Hebrew Studies Bundle
- Logos 6 Jewish Studies Bundle
- Logos 6 Orthodox Studies Bundle
- Logos 6 Lutheran Studies Bundle
- Logos 6 Reformed Studies Bundle
- Logos 6 Baptist Studies Bundle
- Logos 6 Anglican Studies Bundle
- Logos 6 Catholic Studies Bundle
There were no P&C, Wesleyan or SDA bundles.

Wow...really? You traded 2 syllables for 6? This speaks volumes...and the message isn't audibly mellifluous.
Now, that's 7 syllables! If you are going to go in the wrong direction, you should at least match the syllables to the version number.
